RA Smart Ltd was established in 1972 in Macclesfield as a textile screen printer. It is now a leading textile print producer and acknowledged expert in digital print technology and also has expertise in other areas such as jacquard woven silk, print machinery, software support and design studios for both the fashion and furnishing sectors. The business is led by Ron Smart who has over 40 years experience in textiles including the Italian print industry. Ron’s dedication to bringing to life creations, dreams and aspirations of designers around the world and his passion to blend old and new technologies, has in the past 14 years seen RA Smart at the forefront of digital technology, working with high end clients in fashion, interiors and house hold textiles. The latest addition to the RA Smart group is the successful installation of a sewing facility offering made up products such as silk scarves, ties and household textiles.
