Companies are being urged to enter the North East Cheshire Awards – the new name for the Macclesfield and Wilmslow Business Awards.
The awards recognise the area’s high fliers in a number of different categories.
The awards are now in their fourth year and will culminate with a black tie gala dinner at The Mere in Knutsford on November 26. Sue Bowden, of Macclesfield Chamber of Commerce, the lead organiser of the event, said: “Building on the previous three years’ success, we are delighted to announce that this year’s awards have been re-named the North East Cheshire Business Awards to more accurately reflect the area they cover, which is Macclesfield, Knutsford, Wilmslow and all the areas in-between.
“I would recommend that any business in North East Cheshire consider entering this year’s awards. The categories allow for companies of all sizes and all sectors to be considered for their outstanding achievement, innovation, leadership, creativity and more importantly, a positive contribution to the success of the local business community.
“This recognition is not only good for potential clients but staff as well – and as any of our previous winners will tell you, the kudos and PR you get from winning is fantastic.”
Around 350 people attended last year’s business awards at a glamorous event at AstraZeneca’s Hurdsfield site.
This year there are 12 categories open to the region’s businesses, and entries are welcome from all businesses, regardless of size. The awards are free to enter and the closing date is September 30.
