If you’ve been thinking about entering yourself, a colleague or your business for one of our award categories, we’ve got a few top tips to help you make the most out of your entry form.

  1. It’s not complicated or onerous

The entry form is quick and simple! There are 3 points to address for each category and your response can be as short or as long as you like. It can even be bullet points.

  1. Include Supporting Materials

You can include as many relevant supporting documents to your entry form as you want. These can be embedded throughout the form or attached separately.

The point of supporting documents and evidence is to represent what you’re telling us in your entry form and show off your work and achievements. A picture speaks a thousand words!

  1. Be Proud and Shout About Yourself

If you don’t shout about yourself or your business then nobody else is going to and if we can sense your pride and dedication in your work through your entry form then it’s more likely to catch our eye.

  1. Get the Team Involved

Sometimes it’s hard to reflect on your achievements in isolation so why not chat it through with your team, colleagues, clients, or your friends and family to make sure you are telling us about the very best of your business or yourself!

  1. Don’t miss the deadline!

The deadline for entries has now been extended by another week, until the 8th of October so don’t leave it too late.

We can’t wait to read all of your entry forms and wish every individual and business entering the best of luck.

If you are one of the shortlisted entrants for a category, you will be invited to meet the judges on the afternoon of Thursday 18th October…keep the date free! If you need any further advice or information on entering the North East Cheshire Business Awards 2018, feel free to get in touch and our team will work to answer your questions and queries.
